    Greetings
I am needing a small gong handle out of oak, 6-7″ long with a diameter of about 2-3 inches. I have a example. No rush.

        Hi Mark,
sorry for inserting myself into this conversation but I couldn’t figure out a way to contact you. I am wondering if you might be interested in exhibiting and possibly selling your work at Contemporary Art Center of Peoria sometime? IF so, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks, William

I am interested in having table and buffet legs turned. I have been unable to locate any close matches on line. I do not know where to start actually as far as finding someone locally who is able to make them. Any advice or suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

I am looking for someone who can provide sofa table legs. I have a picture and can get dimensions. Does anyone in your club do this sort of thing. I don’t have a lathe. Although I would like to get started with one>

      Pete,
If you’re interested in getting started in woodworking, I have an excellent lathe for you. It’s a mid-sized Jet with a brand new motor on it. The motor was $300 by itself. It is variable speed with a lever to control speed, not the kind where you have to manually move the belt. The lever makes the two pulleys automatically move. When one gets bigger, the other gets smaller, giving you the variable. 120 volts, 3/4 hp. 14-inch swing; about 30-inch turning blank length. $425.
