After buying the Beall 3-in-One, I found it didn't work as well as I thought it would and I quit using it. Rather than buying new buffing wheels for my lathe, I decided to convert the Beall to use as individual buffing wheels. I already had the Beall 2" bowl buffs and the MT2 chuck for them. The Beall bowl buffs screw into the chuck with a 3/8" screw.
To make the conversion, I took the 3-in-one apart and removed the three buffing wheels. They had 3/4" holes in them and were held in place with 2" washers.
I have used the buffing wheels like this and they are really easy to use. I have done 12" bowls, 3" hollow forms, and bottlestoppers so far with no problems. Since I had the two systems already, the conversion cost me about $6.
